1. hi, we just live near the vicinity pf pnu, but due to time constrain i can't go there and inquire. i've been surfing the net to have an idea about the requirements of pnu-ctl, what they have is the website for distance learning. thank u for your web site. may i ask if u have an idea if they offer preschool and of what age to they screen. my daughter will be 2 years old and 6 months by june next year. And im planning to send her for preschool. thank u and hoping for ur time to enlighten me about my inquires about pnu-clt. salamat po

   • Hi Rose, thanks for visiting. You can browse the pages in http://www.pnu.edu.ph/announcements.php to know the requirements for enrollment. They haven't posted the requirements yet for SY 2011-2012 but it's basically the same. Incoming Kinder 1 should be 4 ½ – 5 yrs. old or born between June 2006 – June 2007. You may contact the Office of Student Admissions at 527-0376.

       • Hi! I already forgot the exact amount I paid last May 2011, but it’s more or less P2,500 for the whole year. 🙂

   • Hi! I learned that admission for Kindergarten 1 for SY 2012-2013 is currently on hold. Please do call the Office of Student Admissions at 527-0376 for more details.

     • i hope its just “on hold”…ive been trying to call almost everyday…there was a time sinagot ako na di daw sila mag oo offer ng kinder 1 this year..and i said “huh”.. i hope they’re not misleading us..

       • Hi Riz. That’s what I heard from one of my co-parents din, she wants to enroll her daughter for Kinder 1 pero hindi na daw muna mag o offer ng Kinder 1 for SY 2012-2013. Resume nila sa next year pa. Wala munang Kinder 1 this year, tapos next year ulit mag aaccept. Yung sa anak ko kasi, dumaan pa ng Kindergarten 1 & 2, at ngayon nasa Grade 1 na. Next year ang gagawin nila 1 year na lang sa Kinder. I think it has something to do with the new DepEd curriculum na K-12. Yung friend ko next year nya na lang ieenroll ang anak nya since wala ngang Kinder 1 sa June. Will post update here na rin kapag may bago akong info about this.

   i would like to ask kung nag.oo fer po ng elementary grade ang pnu and how much is the tuition fee.

   • Yes meron silang Elementary sa PNU, my son will be in Grade 2 on June 2012. To be able to be accepted sa Elementary, your kid should start first in their Kinder class as they do not accept transferees.

4. hi! ask ko lang po if strict ba sila sa age sa pag accept ng student for kindergarten? kasi if ever na ma accept ang anak ko, may service ba sila? medyo malayo kasi ang location namin. thanks!

   • Yes, strict sila sa ages, may bracket kasi silang sinusundan, like for example kung tatanggap sila ng enrollees ngayon, dapat yung born between June 2007 – June 2008.

5. my sister took the high school entrance last april, luckily she did pass and scheduled for an interview.ask ko lang po if totoo ba na half or 75% lang daw po ng test passers yun pwedeng magqualify for interview? kasi gusto po sana namin na dun sya maghigh school.any idea po?thanks

   • Hi! Pasensya na hindi ako sure dyan sa half o 75%, depende kasi. May 2 sections sa CTL, with 35 (more or less) students in each section. Lahat naman ng test passers dun ang second step ay interview then medical yung last. Most probably yung 70 or 80 na makakapasa sa interview ang mag proceed sa medical exam.

     I remembered nung time ng anak ko na nag enroll sa Kinder 1, 40 silang nakapasa sa test at naka schedule for interview. I just checked now the names of the students, at out of 40, 30 yung mga naging Kinder 1 dun. Good luck sa sister mo, sana makapasok sya sa CTL. 🙂

     • thanks po sa info.so after po ng medical tsaka pa lang po talaga sure na sure na makakapag-enroll po don?or may cases din po na may natatanggal din sa medical?thanks po.

       • I heard meron din yatang hindi nakakapasa sa medical kung may problema, pero bihira naman mangyari siguro yun. You’re welcome. 🙂

6. thanks po sa info.medyo worried lang kasi if ever na di sya makapasok sa 60 interview passers baka di kami umabot sa enrillment date ng ibang schools.pero we’re still hoping pa din,kasi gusto namin na dun sya talaga mag highschool.nabasa ko po yun shinare nyo po yun experience nun son nyo during his interview.how bout po kaya sa high school may idea din po ba kayo kung ano po yun mga common questions or tips po?salamat.

   • Sorry wala akong idea sa mga common interview questions sa high school. I also hope makapasok ang sis mo doon. Hope to see her there, kasi most of the time nandoon ako kapag may pasok ang anak ko. 🙂

7. kahapon po sched nya ng interview April 24, second batch po sya eh since our last name starts with letter O.kwinento nya po yun mga tinanong sa kanya and i’m glad na yun mga sinabi ko sakanyang possible questions na nakita ko sa net yun din naman daw po yun tinanong sa kanya.kaya medyo prepared na sya, atleast.nakakatawa kasi may talent portion pa daw. :).pinakanta daw po sya. sana nga po makapasok sya eh, pero tinanong ko po sya kung positive ba? sabi nya tingin nya naman daw positive pero syempre ipagdadasal nya pa din daw. thanks po sa reply. sana nga po mameet nyo sya kung sakaling makapasa sya. 🙂

     • hi ms.amor, ask ko lang po ulit.tumawag po ako sa admission sabi po sakin magpopost pa daw sila ng mga medical passers.may instances po bang yun interview passers nababawasan pa po yun?curious lang po kami.thanks po.

       • Pwedeng mabawasan kung hindi makakapasa sa medical, for example laging sakitin, or kung may serious disease, or mga nakakahawang sakit siguro. Pero I doubt kung laging nangyayari yun.

       • tumawag po ako sa CTL office kasi until now wala pa din po silang posting ng Medical Passers eh, pero sabi po nun nakausap ko okay na daw po yun wala naman na daw po natanggal.iready na lang daw po yun requirements for enrollment.ask ko lang po uli,if may idea po kayo mga how much po kaya ang tuition ng high school tsaka kaylangan po bang full payment agad?thanks.

       • Sorry di ko alam, kahit sa Grade 2 wala rin akong idea. Last year wala pang 3k ang tuition nila so baka ganun lang din ang babayaran namin sa Grade 2. Pero wala akong idea kung magkano ang tuition sa high school. If ever man, I doubt kung aabot yun ng 5k.

       • How much did you pay Maiee? Ours was 750 for University fee and 1,115 for SGM (Samahan ng mga Guro at Magulang) fees. Super mura diba, 1,865 lang.

For the University fee po P900 tapos for SGM-P1,315 po. total lang po ng P2,215.oonga po eh.at least di po ganon kamahal. ask ko lang po, kasi bumili kami ng patches eh.ano po ba yun?yun po ba yun parang name tags na ilalagay sa uniform nila. last question na lang po,kasi magpapatahi po sana kami ng uniform sa labas eh, ano po ba ang itsura ng school uniform nila tsaka po kulay.thanks. =)

    • Hi Maiee, sensya na di ko nasagot yung tanong mo about CTL number, I used to have pero naka save kasi sa phone ko, hindi sa sim, since nasira na yung phone, I wasnt able to retrieve it. Ask ko na lang ulit pag pasukan na. Yes, June 7, Thursday ang start ng pasukan.
