I’m so annoyed because it’s been 48 hours since my Globe sim card has no signal. The last message I received was on Sunday around 8:24 AM from Globe’s 2978. I was about to text someone but I couldn’t get a signal. I even went outside of the house just to detect some signal. But all I am seeing is No Access.
I tried refreshing my phone by removing the battery and the sim card, hoping that it would solve the problem but it did not. I also tried inserting my sim card to my sister’s phone but there’s still no signal. Her Smart sim card is working perfectly in my phone.
I tried calling Globe CSR but they are clueless. They said my number is active and that there is no Globe activity or system enhancements in the area that could have caused the problem. They apologized a couple of times I should have counted it! They said I have to wait for few hours or days till I get a signal, because as of now they don’t know yet what happened. I even went to Globe Business Center hoping they would check my sim card, but they did not! All they could tell me is to wait for few days din. Ilang days ba ako dapat maghintay? 2 days? 20 days? My gosh!
Huwag naman sanang sira ang sim ko. Naku ha, I don’t want to buy a new sim! This has been my number since March 2001, although the sim card is 3 or 4 years old. I didn’t do anything para masira itong sim na ito so I don’t deserve this! So Globe, umayos kayo ha! Nakaka-frustrate na kapag tumitingin ako sa phone ko eh laging No Access nakikita ko. I hope that Globe will do something to fix this problem. It’s so irritating! Grrrr!

hinayupak na globe yan.. ,may immortal txt ako 4k at 300mins of call ng immortal call, tapos bigla na lng mwala ang signal… sabi may inaayos pa daw sa system pinahintay ng 24hrs.. at paulit ulit nilang sasabihin un sau pag tumawag ka.. sorry lng mkukuha mo dun sa mga csr na un na la ibang alm kindi ang mag apology sau…

Hanggang ngayon problem pa rin pala ng Globe yan. Have you talked to their Customer support?
merun na bang signal.. syeteng! wala akong laban, andito ako sa KSA, as in 2 days ng walang signal sim card ko… bad trip naman sila…

napadpad ako sa blog mo dahil naghahanap ako ng same story nung sakin. nawala din all of a sudden ang signal ng globe ko, tumawag ako sa CSR at ganon din ang sabi sa akin, maghinta ng appox 7 days. pero sa mga nabasa ko sa mga comments nyo which is matagal na, mukhang wala na ring pagasa. damn this globe. tagal na rin akong nagtitiis dito na mahina ang signal compared sa smart. nanghihinayang lang ako dahil tulad mo, i've been using the same number since 2001.
Hanggang ngayon pala may problem pa rin ang Globe sa ganyan. I do hope your signal problem has been sorted.
OOEEEMGEEE!! ako rin! nawalan ng signal sa globe simcard ko :((( akala ko phone ko may cra.. den nung naglipat lipat ako ng simcard etc.. sim ko pla may cra.. grabeeee X((( actually wala pang 6 hours ung pagkawala ng signal ko.. pero hnde ko na kaya… antagal sobra.. den sasabihin nilang wait?! Hello Stephanie. Pumunta ka na ba sa Globe Center? Baka may pag-asa pa yan. Recently kasi nawalan din ng signal ang roaming sim ng husband ko. May 300+ load pa yun so nagttaka kami bakit nagka ganun. I told my husband na baka matulad sa nangyari sa akin dati. Ipinadala nya yung sim dito at dinala ko sa Globe Center last week. Pinalitan nila ng bagong sim, with the same number. Yun din ang reason, old sim na kaya kailangan palitan. Noong 2008 wala silang available na new sim para sa dati kong sim kaya tuloy nag expire na yung sim ko. Buti na lang ngayon, marami na silang bagong sim.
ako rin nawalan ng signal ngaun lang, mga 5:30pm lang.. nakakainis! bago ang sim nato, last yr lang ng august. ayoko magpalit ng sim kasi eto na ung number na nakalagay sa cv ko. nakakainis kung bat bigla nawala na lang ang signal bigla. haaaayy.
Kung wala ka pa ring signal ngayon, I suggest bring mo yung sim sa Globe center. Hopefully mapapalitan nila yan with a new sim with the same number. Recently kasi nawalan din ng signal ang Globe ng husband ko, eh naka roaming sya. Pinadala nya na lang dito at dinala ko sa Globe center. Old sim na rin kasi yung sa kanya, more than 7 years na. Napalitan na sya, new sim, same old number. Buti hindi natulad sa sim ko.
Hi Amor, experienced the same problem and this is frustrating. kahit pa prepaid sim siya ayaw ko ung hassle to change my number again. 6 years ko na gamit tong sim ko.. Sang Globe Business Center mo dinala ung sim card?
Hello Kasey. Sa SM Manila ko dinala. Paid 100 pesos yata. Kukunin na nila yung old sim, kaya you ask them to copy your phonebook to your new sim.
