Learning to Read

I want to share with you Sean’s short video taken last Sunday, July 27, when he turned 3 years and 4 months. He already knows how to read some words so I thought of recording it while he tries to read. Hearing him read on his own makes me a proud mommy. πŸ˜€

Btw, Snow is our pet dog. πŸ™‚

  2. @Prinsesa Musang, thanks for your comment and welcome to my blog! πŸ™‚

@Thess, thank you. Advance happy trip na rin. πŸ™‚

@Marlene, thanks.

Anyway, mahilig syang magbasa. Minsan pinababayaan ko syang mag-isa. Pag may nakita syang word na alam nyang basahin for example ‘one cow’, sasabihin nya ‘Mommy oh, one cow. pero nasaan ang cow? ” Gusto nya kasi parang dictionary nya na may picture lagi.

@Jessie, thanks, oo nga lumalaki na, at lalong kumukulit habang lumalaki. πŸ˜€

  4. i am a fan of a site geared toward learning to read (i think they might do number practice, too) AND keeping in touch with loved ones far away: http://www.grandparentgames.com/background.cfm

kids can “meet up” online (the site supports video and voice feed) with a grandparent or someone far away and play these games. kinda cool idea since kids this age are often better internet users than their parents πŸ™‚
