What would you feel if you’ll know somebody wants to clone your site? Flattered? Annoyed? Or you would just ignore it?
Two days ago, my blog is inaccessible but I can still login to cpanel. So I decided to just visit my webstat. Then I saw a link from getafreelancer.com. I thought that was just a spam referrer. There’s a clone-personal-website in the url so I was curious and visited the link right away. And here’s what I saw.
Somebody wants to clone my site.
Whaaaat? Somebody wants to clone my site? And he’s willing to pay $250-$750? Why o why? He could have just asked me to do it for him, hahaha!

I really don’t know how to react Mahalia. Flattered and annoyed maybe. Flattered because somebody noticed this site and even wanted to replicate it. Annoyed kasi sana sa akin nya na lang ipinagawa, sayang ang datung!

Sayang din Glenn kasi late ko na sya nakita, kung nakita ko sana yun during the time na naka open pa yung bid, baka nag join ako sa getafreelancer tapos naki bid din ako, hehehe.

Big talaga ako Kiko!
Pero yung big time hindi ako sure.
Matagal na nga ako sinabihan ni Glenn na isubmit ko sa WP itong theme pero hindi ko naman ginawa. Siguro kung isasubmit ko sya, marami pa akong dapat ayusin, saka ang gulo ko kasing mag code eh, so marami akong dapat linisin.

Seriously, gusto ko ring pagaralan tong WP development pero kulang ako sa time. Malaki ang income nung mga sanay na dito like Brian Gardner. Ang mamahal ng mga themes nila grabe.

meron din akong 3310 friend, noong 2001. Working pa rin sya pero di ko na ginagamit kasi mabilis mag lowbat, ginawang laruan ni Sean hanggang sa di ko na nakita, pumutok pala, sayang ang pera ko…..

Nakakaloka nga Jenny, hindi ko alam bakit nila ginagawa yan. Marami pa doon sa site na yun na nag hahanap ng pwedeng magclone sa isang particular na site.

Oo nga ano. Pwede! Kaso sis, meron na syang nakuha doon sa nag bid, baka nga nakagawa na. Kailangan ko pa mag pa register sa site para macontact sya. Bagong member lang din sya doon. Looks like nagpamember sya the same date na ni-post nya yung project.

Sikat ka pala ha biro mo gusto pang iclone ang website mo. Minsan talaga marami kang makikitang weirdo sa net. One time google din ako ng filipinamom aba may site din ako register sa Denmark as company pero tel. iba at address di tugma siguro inggit o alang magawa. Kaya naintindinhan kita nung nakita mo yung site mo. nakakagigil pero magaling ka naman at sikat na hah.

Wala lang magawa sa buhay siguro yan. Sayang lang sana sa akin nagpagawa, kumita pa sana ako sa kanya harharhar! But you know I wonder ano naging outcome ng website na pinagawa nya. I’m curious.
