My Hometown’s Beautiful Beaches

I haven’t visited my hometown Sibale for three years now. Hopefully this summer, we can go there and have the much longed-for vacation. Sad though coz hubby wont be able to accompany us. Maybe next time. He haven’t been there, but I always tell him about how beautiful our island is. Of course I am not just bragging! 🙂

I miss swimming in this place. Have good memories here too. 🙂

  1. hi kabayan! who is Cris Ferrera? anyway, he took really gorgeous photos of your island.. it is also called maestro de ocampo, right? i checked on the romblon map and just realized how far that island is from the major islands like tablas, romblon, and sibuyan.. so, how do get there? parang ang hirap i-byahe 🙁

    • Cris Ferrera is a friend, he took the aerial view picture of Sibale on his way from Cagayan de Oro. The rest of the pictures were taken by Michael and Vanessa.

It's really far from Romblon mainland, Sibale is nearer to Oriental Mindoro. It's also known as Maestre de Campo. To get there, we would take a bus going to Batanggas, then ferry to Calapan, ride a van going to Pinamalayan and then motor boat going to Sibale.

  3. Nice shots. nakapunta na ako sa sibale and we played basketball near the port ^_^ such an amazing place. very friendly environment too.

  4. The first thought that came to my mind when I saw Sibale is that it must be some island in the Carribeans.

After venturing a bit in your blog, I discovered that it is in Philippines. I must say that it is a very pristine island. Look so unpolluted and clean. Guess it is a gem to be discovered as a tourist attraction!

I love the port of sibale island very unique and ang ganda ng tubig. wow talaga..mala paraiso talaga..

I love to visit that place someday.
